Infraction

Infraction first came to prominence with the Fractured Frequencies project which delivered hard-edged drum and bass with dark atmospheres, precision engineering and loud low-end. Early work was deeply rooted in uncompromising underground sound.Infraction has since moved on to solo work and his approach to today’s techstep has been much more focused and refined. From his growing collection of more than 30 released songs he has focused more on the stripped-back intensity, weight and technical control. His music has found a place on respected platforms such as Drumpusher Recordings, Audio Entropy, Outsource and Ion Drive and there are a lot more to come on Ion Drive in 2026. Sharing space with Acid Lab and Red Sky shows his interest in a deeper, more genuine edge of the genre.

In addition to production, Infraction is the mastermind behind Time Slip Recordings, a label that is all about dark, break-heavy techstep and forward-thinking artists from the beginning. The first release, MOA – Backflip EP, sets the tone with high-energy, precision-built production. The Threat Analysis various artists compilation is then a collection of underground talent and established names such as Jaise (Metalheadz, Dispatch), Jkon (DSCI4), Obeisant (RAM, Viper, Renegade Hardware, Brain Rave), Antares (C4C, Danger Chamber, Offish), Forgiven Soul (Danger Chamber, Offish) and Maboon (Code 109, Subplate). This project shows how much of a way that Time Slip Recordings’ mission is to bring emerging talent together with longtime artists and stay firmly underground. With an enormous discography, a clear sonic identity and a purposeful, ambitious label with a solid musical sound, Infraction is carving a place in the international drum and bass scene through consistency, quality and a refusal to conform to trends.
