This Featured Friday mix comes to us from a US DnB heavyweight, Tally G!
Tally G (El Paso, TX), a 20-year veteran DJ—with a couple of “retirements”—has been playing DnB just a few years, a bit more than she’s been throwing shows with her crew DNBtherapy. She started out as a progressive house and breaks DJ under the moniker Lunarsequence, but after her last retirement she became obsessed with the Lifted podcast as well as some friends’ drum and bass mixes and so Tally G was born.
Tally G is one half of Hologynic (with MC Emtre Hollis) and Tex n Bass. She holds residencies with Boomslang Recordings (#USDNB), Proper Chicago, The Distinguished (CO), Syncopation (AZ), and THC KRU (#USDNB). Tally G is on the board of directors as well as a resident DJ for Siren Project and is a brand ambassador for Rave Atlas. She has played all over the western United States and is expanding her sound to the east coast and midwest very soon!
