This Featured Friday mix comes to us all the way from Drumkid in Portugal!!! Drumkid decided to opt for the old school side, leaving PC and CD players aside, and focusing only on vinyl for its magic and sound quality. In 2006, he attended one of the oldest collectives in the area of Lisbon and Portugal, Smokedog Crew, a crew of sintra line, using collections of records and many of them rare nowadays!
He also passed by the Lusitek Agency. It evolved rapidly and in 2009, Drumkid was nominated as a breakthrough DJ by the website COWS ON PATROL. He had the opportunity to share the decks in clubs or free parties with renowned DJs such as DJ Riot, Mee k, Al: x Nuno forte, Alpha, Bsa, Sly And Mr gee the international Erb n dub, Shifta, Krak in dub and many others. Also, he plays in festivals and clubs such as Freekuency Fest or One Big Sound, Europa lx, Domus lx, lx silver arm factory, Via Club Coimbra, Fenix ??club ovar, Patelas Coimbra, Porto rio Porto among many others!
DJ Drumkid also has some Hip Hop and Reggae projects with Dyggas Machine Gun Mc/Producer from Lisbon. He has a very eclectic selection as his sets go from Liquid, Jungle, to Jump Up and Neuro. His mix are long and he has a perfect technical control of the 3 decks mix.
