Featured Friday #117 ***INFRACTION***

Chad Pearson ( Infraction) I first became obsessed with Drum and Bass in January of 1999. I was 17 years old and had to sneak into my first rave. I navigated the unfamiliar territory until I found the “Jungle Room” I was blown away by the sounds of Phantom 45 and 187( Jordana) . I was hooked . I then discovered other Djs and producers that I draw all of my inspiration from. Technical Itch , Dieselboy ( pre 2002 ), Dillinja, Goldie, C4C, Heinrich at Hart, Grooverider and Fabio, etc… bought my first set of decks the next month from a friend who had upgraded. They were Gemini PT2000s that required nickels glued on the heads shells just to track. I played multiple small events in and around my area nothing big. I then bought Fruity Loops in 2000..( FL Studio ) wrote and mixed until I joined the United States Army in 2010..I served through two combat tours in Afghanistan and was discharged in 2018. I’m now 100% disabled through the VA for PTSD effectively retired now and have nothing but time to really focus on my passion. I plan on taking this as far as I can and ultimately have a library full of my own tracks to drop on anyone that will listen. I operate a page on Mixcloud for hosting guest Djs as a place for those that do not have a licensed platform to stream on to avoid being partially muted. DnB is my Job now. My Therapy.
