Ryan (aka DJ Sonus) became fascinated with all things electronic music in the late 90’s. From hitting the Colorado rave scene hard, he developed an appreciation for DJ culture, house music, and speed garage. Collection growing, he and his tag team partner Psylo started playing jazzy, funky, instrumental house music at small local venues and mountain parties along the front range in CO before moving to AZ. Once there he hooked up with Matty Spangler of London West and started playing the Scottsdale clubs scene at venues such as Furio, Myst, Club Suede and the like. On top of this, he started his own production crew, Gung-Ho! Teaming with the local Dirt Assassins Crew, the group put on many events and set up many stages at both small and large events across Arizona.
Always a fan of sexy beats that incorporate live instruments with dirty electronic sound, Ryan has long been a house DJ, a speed garage fanatic, and has dabbled in many other genres.
