Bringing the sexiest grime drum and bass tracks together since 2009 that will have anyone on the dance floor sweating into a sensational flow. Spinning under the name, Konverge, 34 year old Rob Elicker, discovered his love for spinning electronic music after 6 months of attending parties. He took the name originally as the Grime Reaper, developing his start talent with dubstep. It wasn’t long before his childhood passion of drum playing came into his work in 2011 when the Grime Reaper of dubstep became the newly reformatted Konverge of drum and bass. Konverge began his deck career by attending local events known as Train Wreck Thursdays where it was encouraged as open deck nights for fresh D.J.’s to have their chance to show unique talent.
The unique beats were enough to allow this drum and bass grime lord to have a steady flow of opportunities and bookings within the Pittsburgh community since as well as playing several out of state events. Influences such as the dark beats of Black Sun Empire, Telekinesis, Loadstar, Zardonic, The Upbeats, State of Mind, and Audio all have been quite the inspiration to this upcoming Pittsburgh D.J. Drum and bass aroused Konverge through the hard wobbles the bass thrashes out as well it’s reminder from his favorites in the metal community August Burns Red, All Shall Perish, Slipknot and many more. Currently Konverge is frequent with the local promoters 1337, Konverge Entertainment LLC, 1UP Productions, BC-1 Promo and Slayd Productions. Aside from his love on the decks, he also dabbles in lighting, visual effects, 3D Projection mapping and sound with his self own company Konverge Entertainment LLC.
